Anemone apennina ‘Petrovac’

Out of stock

If you love deep blue things, this splendid, robust cultivar should be on your “must have” list. A close cousin of A. blanda, it’s ideally suited for massing and naturalizing. The many-petaled, deep lavender-blue flowers appear on 4- to 6-inch stems in April and May above dense foliage. It prefers part shade and reasonable drainage. According to one long-time customer (and plantsman), this is the plant that he missed most when he moved to a new garden. Mediterranean/Modified continental; S Europe. Zone 6.
