Crocus ‘Blue Bird’ (Chrysanthus hybrid)

We add this circa-1955 introduction to our selection of rare and outstanding heirloom snow crocuses.  White, yellow-throated flowers are blotched sky-blue on their exteriors, echoing the color of whatever bluebirds might be in the neighborhood.  Zone 4.
