A recently described and highly ornamental species from that Crocus hotbed, the Balkans. Bright lilac-blue blooms with dark violet feathering and yellow throats arrive toward the end of the spring crocus season. Mediterranean/Modified continental/Montane; W Balkans. Zone 5.
