Crocus ‘Pamir Snow’

Hybrids between Crocus korolkowii and the incomparable C. michelsonii sometimes occur in cultivation, and they’re usually doozies.  As is this recent introduction, which bears large white flowers with pearly-shaded exteriors in late winter, early in the crocus season.  Sun and coarse, humus-rich soil preferred.  Steppe/montane.  Zone 4.
