Crocus veluchensis JJA.354.002

Out of stock

One of the largest and loveliest crocuses, C. veluchensis is rarely found in gardens, primarily because forms from its typical alpine meadow habitats do not take well to cultivation. Not so with this selection from lower-elevation deciduous woodlands of North Macedonia. The ample pearlescent pale lavender-blue chalices have darker violet shading at their tips. Modified continental/Montane; North Macedonia. Zone 5.
